How do I make a high quality Aang Fire Nation outfit?
The other cosplays I’ve looked at don’t look very high quality. I want to make the vest and boots myself, out of black suede, and obtain the highest quality cloth for the rest of the costume. Any insight/ideas? Thanks.
Well, if you don’t mind spending a bit more money, buying a little bit of red silk would probably look nice for the trim on the vest, and maybe for the headband, too. As for the rest of it, I’d go with cotton. It’s comfortable, and it would look perfectly fine for the shirt. Maybe not the pants, but you could give that a try, or maybe get a thicker material for them. Maybe a dark denim would work for them. ^^ Good luck! There aren’t enough Avatar cosplayers out there, imo.
